The EI Competencies Model provides HR professionals with actionable insights on how to develop emotional intelligence in their teams, fostering creativity, adaptability and a people-centred approach in the workplace. VET training curriculum for HR Managers
Over the past few months, REVIVE 5.0 project partners have focused on creating an innovative vocational training curriculum designed to equip HR managers with the Emotional Intelligence (EI) skills necessary to succeed in Industry 5.0.
The training programme covers key areas such as Emotional Intelligence, critical thinking, adaptability and leadership. Here is a look at some of the key modules:
- Introduction Module: An overview of Industry 5.0, the importance of EI and a roadmap for the training programme.
- Self-Awareness and Self-Reflection: Techniques for understanding and managing emotions in a digitally orientated work environment.
- Emotional Regulation and Resilience: Practical strategies for regulating emotions and building resilience in the workplace.
- Critical Thinking: Developing essential critical thinking skills for better decision making and problem solving in HR.
- Empathy and Relationship Building: Strengthening workplace relationships through empathy, communication and feedback.
- Conflict Management and Problem Solving: Tools for mediating conflicts and overcoming complex challenges in HR.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Preparing HR professionals to navigate constant changes in organisational dynamics and technology. Teamwork and Collaboration: Promoting effective teamwork and collaboration in the context of Industry 5.0.
- Ethical Decision Making: Focuses on promoting ethical leadership and self-awareness in HR decision-making processes.
- Motivation and Leadership: Develops self-motivation and leadership techniques that inspire teams and drive change.
- Cultural Intelligence and Diversity: Promotes intercultural communication and inclusion in HR practices with a focus on diversity.
- Communication Skills: Develops active listening, assertiveness and non-verbal communication skills to enhance HR effectiveness.
Once reviewed and finalised, this innovative curriculum will be delivered online through a purpose-built learning platform and tested on target groups through a piloting programme.
