CATAPULT PROJECT

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE CATAPULT PROJECT?

CYC aims to help the target group to develop key career competences such as learning to learn, goal setting, time management and productivity.

CYC aims to strengthen the digital capacity of European career guidance by using innovative digital methods for the Career Profiling and Planning Tool and core competence training to achieve 40% higher learning effectiveness.

THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES WILL BE IMPLEMENTED DURING THE EXECUTION OF THE CATAPULT PROJECT;

Our Project Partners will conduct research on a human-centred approach to uncover hidden barriers to employment and professional development and prepare a policy recommendation report based on this.

The findings will inform the design of a Career Profiling and Career Planning Toolkit to present achievable career positions and ways to reach them.

A digital training platform with chatbot as a pocket mentor for basic career skills with short daily videos and practice tasks will be developed.

RESULTS OF THE CATAPULT PROJECT;

We expect to reach a total of 1500 target group young people during the project, 25% of them will complete both the career pathway and the training, 60% will complete the career pathway and 10% of them will apply for a job.

We expect 400 young people to complete the basic career competence training and both tools to be piloted in 1 school and 150 teachers to be trained to guide students on how to use the tools.

The learning effectiveness of career tools developed using CYC methods is 40 per cent higher.
