-How did I get here?

I have been working in the health sector for the last 28 years. For the last 10 years, I have also been working in the field of sociology, as it is my undergraduate field. In parallel, I have been working as the president of the women's branches of two different foundations. I carry out my work by leading the personal development trainings of the staff working in hospitals, medical centres and clinics affiliated to these foundations. In recent years, I have been implementing our work with vulnerable groups with the support of local and international projects with target groups in the field with very valuable professionals in the field. At the same time, I share my contribution to the content as a researcher in foundation activities and projects in EU-based initiatives.

-Tell us how your career started. Give information about your formal and non-formal education.

As a sociologist who has been working in the health sector for many years, I started my career with the laboratory training I received at the university. Later, after completing my undergraduate education in Sociology, my curiosity in various branches of social sciences and my desire to understand human behaviour led me to this field. During my undergraduate education, I had a special interest in the health sector thanks to health sociology courses and related internships. After graduation, I decided to work in the field of health and decided to continue my career in this sector. Over the years, in addition to my formal education, I have continuously improved my knowledge and skills through non-formal education by participating in various seminars, workshops and certificate programmes. In this process, I have specialised in sociology in the health sector by increasing both my theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
