Revive 5.0 project in a nutshell

The REVIVE5.0 project is designed to help HR managers in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) transition their workforce to Industry 5.0 by developing a vocational training programme focusing on emotional intelligence (EI). DZ is vital for creating a healthy work culture, promoting co-operation and improving mental health. The project involves six organisations from different countries (France, Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey and the Netherlands).

It also aims to increase the capacity of SMEs and VET organisations to deliver enhanced training and learning approaches. This will be achieved by investigating the impact of DZ on HR management, developing a training programme and providing work-based learning opportunities. Ultimately, the aim is to prepare SMEs for the future and give them a competitive advantage in the sector.

The project is expected to achieve, among others, the following impacts Raising awareness of Industry 5.0 to SMEs and promoting AI skills for HRMs; sharing best practices and engaging policy makers to prepare SMEs for the transition; and encouraging vocational training institutions to update training curricula with AI components to prepare the future workforce for the opportunities and challenges of Industry 5.0.

Next steps of the project

Partners from the participating countries are currently working towards the goal of creating a model of EZ Competences for HR Management. They have begun this process by conducting extensive desk and field research, analysing in depth the practices and methods of HR managers in their respective regions. Through this joint endeavour, they aim to compile a comprehensive list of competencies that are vital for success in the field of human resource management, given the transition to Industry 5.0.

The research conducted by the partners will provide information on the EI skills and attributes necessary for effective HR management. Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognise, understand and manage one's own emotions as well as the emotions of others. It plays a crucial role in HR management as it enables managers to effectively navigate workplace relationships, handle conflicts and lead their teams with empathy and sensitivity. This is an essential skill that can greatly enhance the performance of an HR manager and contribute to a harmonious working environment.

Through the research, the partners will identify key areas where emotional intelligence is vital in HR management. These include communication skills, conflict resolution, teamwork, leadership and others. With this information, the partnership will work towards the development of a comprehensive training programme that will equip HR managers with the competencies necessary to excel in these areas.

This training programme will be designed with a focus on practical applications rather than theoretical concepts. The programme will include interactive workshops, case studies and real-life scenarios to help HR managers develop and strengthen their emotional intelligence competencies. The ultimate goal is to empower HR managers with the skills they need to effectively support and develop their employees, while promoting a positive work culture.

Opportunities to take part in the project

The success of the project will largely depend on the involvement of the participants. Through participation at various levels, individuals will play an integral role in shaping the outcome of the project. Through field research, HR managers from partner countries will be given the opportunity to contribute their insights and expertise towards understanding Industry 5.0 and its impact on HR practices. This collaborative effort will provide a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape and help identify key areas for improvement.

As the project progresses, participants will also have the chance to pilot the training programme developed by our team. This hands-on approach will allow for real-time feedback and adjustments to be made, ensuring that the training meets the needs and expectations of those involved.

Participation is welcomed at every stage of the project!
