The CYC (Catapult Your Career) project emerges as a beacon of hope and direction, aiming to bolster the employment capacity, resilience, and job application skills of youth. This article explores why career guidance is indispensable in the AI era and outlines the six pivotal reasons young people need career guidance and a success mindset.

The first reason circles around the swift pace of technological evolution. AI and automation are reshaping job markets, rendering some skills obsolete while demanding new ones. CYC equips young individuals to adapt to these changes, ensuring they remain competitive and relevant in a transforming work environment.

The project's cornerstone is the Career Profiling and Planning Tool, a digital method designed to elevate the career guidance experience. This tool, coupled with key competence training, aims to achieve a 40% higher learning effectiveness, making CYC a trailblazer in digital capacity strengthening for European career guidance.

As we march into the future, where AI shapes our professional and personal lives, initiatives like CYC are not just beneficial but essential. They provide the youth, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds, with the tools, skills, and mindset needed to thrive in this new era.
